Thousands of people every year consider getting treatment for varicose veins and spider veins. In the past, this has required either the painful vein stripping operation or a series of injections into the vein, called sclerotherapy. In the late 1980′s and early 1990′s sclerotherapy was often covered by insurance. Since then, the medical community has realized that in up to 85% of the cases, the varicose veins have reoccurred with a vengeance.
Dr. Ashton has refined and elevated the approach to include the latest “High Tech” minimally invasive, FDA approved treatment methods. He features treatment and diagnostic procedures such as:
Duplex Ultrasound vein mapping (scanning) for diagnosis and documentation of the venous disease.
Endovenous Laser Ablation
Microsurgical Ambulatory Phlebectomy.
Ultrasound Guided Sclerotherapy Cosmetic Sclerotherapy
Compression and Surgical treatment of venous ulcer.
